CCL farewell to superannuating employees
Altogether eight employees including four executives posted at Central Coalfields Ltd (CCL)’s headquarters superannuated from their services on 28thFebruary, 2019. They were accorded warm and affectionate Samman Samaroh (farewell) during a function here on Thursday. Director (Pers) R S Mahapatro wished them for their peaceful and healthy post retirement life. Total 137 employees including headquarters have superannuated from their service from CCL on 28th February 2019. On this occasion, all the retiring employees shared their personal experience and acknowledged support and affection, which they got from the company during their service period.
ICFAI University launches new course
In order to impart the Working Professionals with requisite knowledge and skills in the latest IT technologies, ICFAI University, Jharkhand will be offering PGDCA (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications) programme from 2019 academic year. Senior Managers from industry, faculty members and students participated in the event. Welcoming the audience to the event, Prof ORS Rao, Vice-Chancellor of the University said, “As the 4th Industrial Revolution unfolds, Industry is embracing new technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Block Chain, Big Data Analytics, IOT etc to improve their operations dramatically. This will impact the future roles of all the Working Professionals. As per the recent WEF report, 54% of the existing employees have to re-skill themselves by 2022.”
Canara Bank opens branch at Chandaghasi
Canara Bank Deputy General Manager and Circle Chief, Subodh Kumar inaugurated Canara Bank Branch at Chandaghasi on Wednesday. On the occasion Director , DAV Nageshwar Public School, Birendra Singh was present with Additional General Manager Shailesh Kumar Singh. Speaking on the occasion Kumar said that the bank is providing social banking as well as digital banking with its 143 branches in across the State.
Ranchi-Ara weekly train
Ranchi: Ranchi-Ara-Ranchi weekly express will roll out from Ranchi Junction on March 2. Train number 18640 will leave Ranchi Junction at 9.05 PM on March 2 and will reach Ara next day at 8 am. The same train bearing number 18639 will leave Ara on Sunday at 10 am and reach Ranchi same day. The train will pass through Muri, Bokaro, Gomo, Koderma, Gaya, Sasaram.
CMPDI felicitates retired employees
CMPDI felicitated four of its retired employees in the Farewell ceremony organized in Conference Hall, CMPDI on Thursday.
